Fashion Designers Association of Spain will be awarded the Gold Medal for Merit in Fine Arts, an award granted by the Ministry of Culture, which distinguishes the entities that have excelled in the field of artistic creation and have contributed to dissemination.
Prominent persons and entities will receive the award, as the Academy of Cinema, the architect and designer Patricia Urquiola or Club Music and Jazz San Juan Evangelista.

Modesto Lomba, president of ACME, whom we see in the picture LNO principal, wanted to thank the award with these statements: “This award strengthens and encourages us to continue to work every day with determination by fashion designers in Spain. A stimulus that comes at a difficult time for companies in our country and which will be the impetus for new challenges that will benefit the fashion design industry. ”
Over 30 fashion designers parade members of the association in various national and international gateways such as Cibeles Madrid Fashion Week, Barcelona Bridal Week, New York, Milan or Paris.
ACME coordinate this year for the first time, the share of the fashion designers image fairs taking place in the Semaine des Creators of Paris. The association is facing new projects to boost Spanish fashion outside its borders.
